System set up is such that every user, barring none, will get an email once the respective $HOME folder exceeds a pre-set limit (red line in the above graph); and will continue to get emails at an annoying frequency until disk usage is below that limit. Data can/may be backed up on several other machines including but not limited to shiva, laxmi, sita and/or your personal storage devices.

Please contact sgowtham_AT_mtu.edu for rsync_ssh based scripts to periodically backup data from rama's front end on to your personal media.

Any such backup is the sole responsibility of the user and administrators will not be liable for the loss of such backups, if any.
